Antwan Lang is an accomplished leader and trusted advisor in the fields of government affairs, business development, and community engagement. As President and CEO of Atlantic South Group LLC, a premier governmental and business development firm, Antwan leverages his extensive experience and visionary leadership to deliver impactful solutions for clients navigating complex policy and regulatory landscapes.

Named Rising Lobbyist of the Year by James Magazine in 2022, Antwan has built a stellar reputation for his integrity, strategic foresight, and ability to foster meaningful connections across public and private sectors. He is a native of Savannah, Georgia, and a proud resident of Atlanta, where he is deeply committed to driving economic growth and community advancement.

Antwan brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished career in public service and advocacy. He has served as Chief of Staff in the Georgia State Senate, Legislative Aide in the Georgia House of Representatives, and Director of Government and Community Affairs at Atlanta Technical College. As a Policy Analyst with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, he championed initiatives to promote equity and economic opportunity. He also led Government Affairs and Business Development for the Southeast United States at Lime, a global micromobility company, where he successfully navigated public-private partnerships to enhance urban mobility.

A seasoned public servant, Antwan was appointed to the Atlanta Solid Waste Appeals Board in 2024 by the Atlanta City Council, underscoring his commitment to effective governance and community impact. As Chair and Founder of the Atlanta Fulton Foundation, Antwan leads efforts to advance pro-business initiatives and foster civic engagement throughout the region. Additionally, he serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Georgia Shift, a nonprofit organization empowering young people to shape their political and economic future.

Antwan’s educational background reflects his dedication to excellence and lifelong learning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Savannah State University. He is a graduate of the New Leaders Council Class of 2018 in Augusta, Georgia, and an alumnus of the prestigious Andrew Young Leadership Institute.

As a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army National Guard, Antwan exemplifies the values of discipline, leadership, and service. He received his commission through Georgia State University and continues to serve with distinction, applying his military training to his civilian roles.

Antwan is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the Savannah Chamber Government Affairs Council and the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, where he mentors future leaders and promotes educational and economic initiatives. As a former elected official, Antwan understands the importance of responsive leadership and accountability, which he brings to every endeavor.
